Look at actual job openings and see what kind of salary, skill requirements, experience necessary, location, and future openings at a site like: Careers.org. |

Newport News Apprentice School
To be a competitive applicant you should have 5 or 6 of the following:
· Math I
· Math II
· Math III
· Pre-calculus and/or Calculus
· Agricultural Mechanics I & II
· Chemistry
· Physics (strongly recommended)
· Good grades in English
· An average GPA of 2.8-3.0
· CTE classes at COA (i.e. welding, drafting, electrical, etc.)
